Commissioning
Commissioning with configured MAC address
You will find the MAC address on the label attached to the back of the SIP
system telephone. If you configure the SIP system telephone with it’s MAC
address, the device is ready for use after starting up.
Commissioning without entering the MAC address
To configure the SIP system telephone without entering a MAC address, you
must set the DHCP mode to
Dynamic and static address assignment
, either
for all devices (
All
setting) or for all SIP system telephones (
with configured
MAC only and all SIP system devices
setting). You can change the DHCP
mode in the
Configurator > Network > DHCP
menu.
In the
VoIP phones
dialogue, a part of the MAC address is already set. You do
not need to remove the preset value if you configure the SIP system
telephone without MAC address.
When configuring the SIP system telephone without MAC address, it is
necessary to perform a one-time login procedure after the device is started.
