Configuring the Telephone

Forum IPhone 5025/5030/5040
1.

In the device menu, select

Display

The

Screen Saver Timer

option allows you to configure the amount of

time (in seconds) the phone must be idle before the screen saver initiates. If
the value is set to “0” the screen saver is disabled.

The

Brightness Level

option allows you to set the amount of light that

illuminates the LCD display during

activity

. To decrease or increase the

brightness, press the or key (Forum IPhone 5025/5030) or on the

arrow keys (Forum IPhone 5040).

Tip:

You can set the brightness during a

period of inactivity

in the menu

Configurator > Telephony > Devices > System phones

The

Brightness Timer

option allows you to set the amount of time you

want the LCD display to stay illuminated before turning the backlight off
during a period of inactivity. For example, if you set the brightness timer to
“60”, when the phone reaches 60 seconds of inactivity, the LCD backlight
goes off.

You can retrieve information on the firmware and the network settings.
