Troubleshooting
The ProteOn™ XPR36 instrument cannot be serviced by the user. This
chapter helps you diagnose and prevent problems.
If you find it necessary to seek help, download the Instrument Log described
on page 4 to provide Technical Support with a complete history of the
ProteOn instrument and application events.
Common Concerns
This table lists common problems, possible causes, and solutions.

Spikes Small air bubbles in the flow cell Flush and prime system
Sample has air bubbles De-gas sample
Dirty sample lines Run maintenance procedure
Baseline drift Old buffer is being replaced by new buffer Prime system with new buffer
Chip requires temperature equilibration Allow .5 to 1 hr for equilibration
