(fig. D/E/F)
1
Attention: before any kind of installation read carefully this manual
2
Make sure your operator properly complies with the installation
requirements.
3
Furthermore:
·
Your gate must perfectly slide (sliding wheels properly greased)
·
Your gate must be equipped with opening and closing mechanical
devices.
·
Your gate must comply with the current regulations.
INSTALLATION TIPS
Junctions
:
·
All junctions must be made without electricity.
·
Do not forget to place an omnipolar breaking device close to the control
board (at least 3 mm distance among the junctions).
·
Use a 6A automatic switch to preserve constantly the power supply.
Our use a single-phase 16A switch provided with fuses.
·
Keep the accessory lines separated from the motor and control board
power supply lines, to prevent any installation misworking.
·
Any control and safety outfits connected to the control board must be

FIXING THE GEAR MOTOR
·
Fix the plate P1 to the ground, respecting the criteria in fig. A.
·
Fix the motor to plate P1 using bolts M10x60 provided.
·
Screw two nuts M10 and two washers Ø10 on each bolt (fig. B).
·
The first nut is used to fix the motor to the bolt.
·
The second nut is used to fix the bolt and the motor to plate P1, as well as
the millimetric adjustment of the height. The fixing bolts lead to a vertical
adjustment of about 15 mm. It is highly recommended to place the bolt in
the middle of each fixing slot of the motor. It is highly recommended to fix
the motor keeping a distance from plate P1 of about 30 mm (fig. B). In this
way it will be possible, at the end of the installation, to adjust perfectly both
vertically and horizontally the motor.
FIXING OF B117 RACK
B117
is a nylon gear rack with steel core, M4 module and 20x26mm
dimensions, in 0.50 cm bars.
To fix it to your gate, please follow the instructions:
1
Release the motor and open the gate fully.
2
Place the first rack piece on the motors’ pinion, level it off horizontally and
then fix it to the gate using the screws and the washers supplied.
3
Move the gate forward for about 0.50 cm
4
Couple a second piece of rack to the first one and lay it on the pinion
(picture D).
Keep the rack perfectly levelled and fix the second piece to the gate.
5
Repeat steps 3 and 4 to cover all the gate length
6
Lower the gearmotor position about 1 or 2 mm by adjusting the bolts on
the ground fixing plate, to avoid the gate weight overloading on the motor
pinion.
7
Fix the limit switch brackets (opening and closing limit switches) at the to
ends of the rack with the fitting dowels (picture E).
8
Make sure that your gates has mechanical stops and adjust the limit
switch brackets to make the gate stop before reaching the mechanical
stops.
