Chipset Software Installation Utility
3-1-3-1. Introduction
The Intel
®
Chipset Software Installation Utility installs Windows *.INF files to the
target system. These files outline to the operating system how to configure the Intel
chipset components in order to ensure the following features function properly:

SATA Storage Support (SATA & SATA II)

USB Support (1.1 & 2.0)


Chipset Driver
The utility pack is to be installed only for POSReady 7 & Embedded 8 Industry
series, and it should be installed right after the OS installation. Please follow the
steps below:
1.
Connect the USB DVD-ROM device to PA-8225 and insert the driver disk.
2. Enter the “Main Chip” folder where the Chipset driver is located (depending
on your OS platform).
3. Click Setup.exe file for driver installation.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
5. Once installation is completed, shut down the system and restart PA-8225 for
the changes to take effect.
