S3 Domain Name Rules
VSky implements the Amazon S3 API to support compatible S3 tools. Most S3 tools use the Amazon S3
address, which is typically hard coded into the tool. Therefore, the S3 domain name must follow specified naming
rules in order to use S3 tools.
To set the S3 Domain Name, from the Home page, click the
Configuration
menu tab, then click the
S3 Domain
Name
button at the bottom of the menu. A new menu appears. Enter the new S3 domain name using the naming
rules, and click
Done
to create the new S3 Domain Name.
The S3 domain name, must begin with the prefix “s3.” after that you can put in your company name, or another
alphanumeric character string, then end with the suffix “.com” and click
Done
to create or change it.
