Change Host Name
The host name is very important steps for later configuration and operation of object storage. The naming rule
for host names is very simple. The first part of the name can be anything, up to 60 characters in length. Most
importantly,
the host name must be unique for each node in the cluster
.
To change the host name:
1. In the Main Menu, select
System Tools
, and
Configure Hostname
.
2. In the menu, enter the host name, and select
OK
.
Change Time Zone
Correct time zone setting is also very important steps for operation of object storage.
To change the time zone:
1. In the Main Menu, select
System Tools
, and
Configure Time Zone
.
2. Scroll down and choose the time zone.
3. Select
OK
