WARNING!
– Disconnect the system from the supply voltage
before starting troubleshooting or fault rectifica‐
tion work on the system.
– Wait at least 5 minutes after the system has
been disconnected from the mains/power
supply before touching components inside the
cabinet. Ensure that the system cannot be
accidentally reconnected to the mains power
while work on the system is underway.
WARNING!
Should the ozone gas system have to be opened,
remove the ozone safely from the gas pipes:
– Either wait 24 hours until the ozone has
decomposed naturally,
– or run the system with "Production" "0" for 10
minutes so that the ozone is forced out. Do not
forget the ozone in the external pipes,
The faults listed in the table -
Table on page 52 - will lead to
the system being switched off.
The time delay (between detection of the fault and shut-down of
the system) will depend on the type of fault. During the delay time,
the associated error message flashes at the bottom. The system
shuts down gradually:
1 - The high voltage section is switched off first. The system con‐
tinues to run for some time without ozone being generated.
During this period, residual ozone is transported out of the
generator.
2 - Then solenoid valves isolate the system pneumatically and
hydraulically (gas inlet, gas outlet, cooling water inlet) from the
remaining system.
3 - The touch panel displays an error message giving the cause
of the fault.
13.1 Monitoring
The control monitors every analogue measured variable within the
system at different stages. There is generally a warning threshold
and a switching-off threshold.
If a
‘warning threshold’ is transgressed, the control displays a
warning message on the touch panel - the system continues to run.
If a
‘switching-off threshold’ is transgressed, the control displays a
fault alert on the touch panel and switches the system off.
With digital variables, the control switches the system off when the
limit value set on the sensor is transgressed.
