Chapter 1.2 ‘User qualification’
1.
Disconnect the sensor electrically.
2.
Depressurise the bypass fitting by
opening the sampling tap.
3.
Loosen the clamping screw.
4.
Open the sampling tap and pull the
sensor slowly out of the bypass fitting
and then close the sampling tap.
5.
Unscrew and empty the diaphragm cap
over a sink or similar vessel.
6.
Flush the diaphragm cap and electrodes
with clean water and dry until free of
dust.
7.
Use a lint-free cloth to wipe the elec‐
trodes and allow them to dry for 24
hours.
8.
Loosely screw the diaphragm cap onto
the electrodes to protect them.
9.
Fit the diaphragm protective cap onto
the diaphragm cap to protect it.

The manufacturer will take back decontami‐
nated used devices providing they are covered
by adequate postage.
Decontaminate the device before returning it for
repair. To do so, remove all traces of haz‐
ardous substances. Refer to the Material Safety
Data Sheet for your feed chemical.
A current Declaration of Decontamination is
available to download on the ProMinent web‐
site.
