Safety

• 

The thermometer must not be dismantled or 
modified in any way.

• 

The thermometer is only intended for indoor use. 
Do not expose it to moisture.

• 

The thermometer is not intended to be used as 
a reference thermometer and Clas Ohlson will 
not be held liable for any damage which may 
result from inaccurate readings.

• 

The battery should be removed from 
the thermometer if it is not to be used for 
an extended period, otherwise the battery might 
leak and damage the thermometer. Never leave 
a discharged battery in the battery compartment.

• 

The max and min values will be deleted when 
the battery is changed.

• 

The thermometer must never be subjected to 
shocks or impacts.

• 

The thermometer is not a toy. Keep it out of 
children’s reach.

Operating instructions

1.  Insert 1 × AAA/LR03 battery (sold separately) 

observing the polarity markings in the battery 
compartment.

2.  After a few seconds, the current indoor 

temperature will appear at the top of the display 
screen.

3.  Select the unit of measurement, °C or °F by 

pressing  [ °C/°F ].

4.  When the temperature is displayed, an indicator 

also shows the current comfort value*.

5.  The current relative humidity is shown at 

the bottom of the display.

6.  The maximum and minimum temperatures can 

be displayed by pressing [ MAX/MIN RESET ] 
repeatedly.

MAX: Displays the highest recorded 
temperature and humidity readings. 
The comfort value is not displayed.

MIN: Displays the lowest recorded 
temperature and humidity readings. 
The comfort value is not displayed.

7.  The recorded max and min temperatures can 

be cleared by holding in the [ MAX/MIN/RESET ] 
button for a few seconds.

* Comfort value
• 

The comfort indicator shows the comfort 
value, i.e. how the body perceives the current 
combination of temperature and humidity.  
For most people the indoor climate feels most 
comfortable at a temperature between  
20 °C and 25 °C (68–77 °F) and at a humidity  
of 40–85 % RH.

• 

The more bars that are filled on the comfort 
indicator, the higher the comfort value. 
The comfort value is, however, perceived 
differently from person to person.

Resetting

If abnormal characters are displayed, the thermometer 
can be reset by removing the battery, waiting a few 
seconds and then putting it back in again.

Care and maintenance

• 

Clean the product using a soft, moist cloth. 
Use a mild detergent – never use a solvent or 
strong, abrasive detergent, as this may damage 
the product.

• 

The battery should be replaced when the display 
becomes difficult to read.

Disposal

This product should be disposed of in accordance 
with local regulations. If you are unsure how to 
proceed, contact your local council.
