Low Profile Oil Filter Sandwich Adaptor

PRODUCT. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT A QUALIFIED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN PERFORMS THIS
INSTALLATION.
This product is designed to sit in between the standard oil filter and the engine block. Both
inlet/outlets are plumbed for AN10
ORB connections and there are 2x 1/8” NPT ports for
accessories for reading oil pressure, etc. This adaptor is required when installing an
engine oil cooler to provide oil flow to the cooler core. This is a universal product with a
variety of inserts provided to fit both imperial and metric oil filters.
TYPICAL INSTALLATION
1.
Drain engine oil from vehicle following the factory service manual of the vehicle.
2.
Ensure to clean out the billet remote oil block for any debris from the machining
process.
3.
Remove the vehicles factory oil filter by unscrewing it from the block.
4.
Insert the correct thread needed for your vehicle into the sandwich plate adaptor.
Screw this assembly onto the engines original oil filter nipple on the block. Ensure
all o-rings are securely in their grooves and lubricated.
5.
Torque the threaded insert using the hex to approximately 25 Nm.
6.
Install the oil filter of your choice by screwing it into the male nipple now coming
out of the block adaptor.
7.
Begin plumbing the block adaptor using the appropriate hose and fittings and
connecting them to an external oil cooler. The block adaptor is labelled with
inlet/outlets for your convenience.
8.
If only 1 or none of the 1/8” NPT ports are being used, block off with thread sealant.
