Quick start up
The following are the basic steps for basic configuration of KDC3900 system. Programming is
done via two programming menu:

Graphic
–
borrowed from KDC3100 (available only for KDC39XX keyboards)
•
A-
–
borrowed from KDC1905
The operation should start from the graphic menu:
a)
Entering the
“
graphical
”
programming: press and hold down while idle
0 ->
-> 240360 -> installer code (default
‘
0000
’
).

Keyboard security:
a)
Enter the
“
Settings
”
submenu using buttons and , by confirming with button , then
select
“
Installer code
”
b)
The cassette will display the current code. Delete the old code with button , enter a new
installer code, confirm with button , enter a new code again and confirm with button
The code can also be changed from the old type programming menu in submenu A-7 (see
chapter 10.7)

this is the only option for BM0900

Entering residents

data (KDC39XX keyboard only):
a)
Enter in the
“
Editing the residents list
”
b)
Press ,

Edit entry
”
or

New entry
”

Fill in the
“
Premises number
”
field

this is a number entered by the user from keyboard
d)
The field
“
Destination number
”
is used to redirect a number entered from keyboard (e.g.
from 100a to 250)

In the

Lock code
’
field you can overwrite standard code, which is generated by a code
table (attached to the device in paper form)

IDs are recorded via item

RFID
”

Add RFID

and then bring next IDs
closer to the keyboard digit. All of them will be added to the edited entry
g)
In the
“
Surname
”
field you can enter a text, which will be displayed on the residents list
available from the main screen. It is also possible to hide the entry by entering the value
1 in the
“
Hidden
”
field.

Configuration of display and volume:
a)
Go to the

Adjustments

tab

Using buttons 1-5 it is possible to change the adjusted parameter, the button 0 changes
adjustment step

backlight brightness at idle (lifting above 50% is not recommended)
