1. Input connections
Input connectors are two independent balanced XLR (CH1, CH2).
These connectors may be used for line level signals of different sound
sources (CD player, tuner, tape, etc. Each source can be independently
routed to each output (OUTPUT1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
2. Output connections
There are ten independent balanced XLR output connectors, divided in
two sections (CH1, CH2). Each output level control can be individually
adjusted by its level control located on unit front panel (fig.1 ref.4). 5
CH1 section outputs have the same signal of CH1 input, and 5 CH2
section outputs have the same signal of CH2 input.
3. Mono/Stereo
mode
With this selector (fig.1 ref.3) in STEREO position, the unit distributes
CH1 input signal to 5 CH1 section outputs, and CH2 to 5 CH2 section
outputs.
With this selector (fig.1 ref.3) in MONO position, the unit distributes CH1
signal
only
to 10 outputs (5 CH1 section outputs plus 5 CH2 section
outputs) while the signal present in CH2 input will not be routed to any
output.
4. Peak indicator LED
Each input is provided with a LED (fig.1 ref.2). This LED turns on when
input signal is too high.
Operations
a. To turn on the unit press the POWER switch ON.
b. To turn off the unit press the POWER switch OFF.
c. Use the selector (fig.1 ref.3) to choose the mono/stereo operational
mode (see Installation point 3).
d. If peak indicator LED is continuously lit, it means that its input signal is
too high. In order to obtain a non distorted signal, please lower the
sound source output level until LED turns on only during music peaks.
