START TIME [SEC]
This setup determines the start-up time of the ST. Use this setup to adjust the power up sequence so that the
ST starts up after the PLC.
TOUCH BUZZER SOUND
Setup whether or not the ST beeps when pressed.
PASSWORD SETUP
The password setting is used when changing to the Initialize Memory or Initialize (OFFLINE mode) Screens.
The password (from 0 to 9999) ensures protection of the ST settings, since the use of OFFLINE mode is con-
trolled. If you do not wish to use this feature, enter the default value, 0.
DATA TYPE OF SCREEN NO.
This setup controls whether BIN or BCD format numbers are used when making screen changes. Screen num-
bers 1 to 8999 are available for binary format; screen numbers 1 to 1999 are available for BCD format.

System Area Setup
SYSTEM AREA SETUP is necessary for the PLC to control its ST-related data, and prepares the PLC inter-
nal Data Memory (DM) and Data Register (D)*1. Use this setup to prepare the desired SYSTEM DATA
AREA items. SYSTEM DATA AREA is located in the LS area of the ST's internal area.
When using the Memory Link format, this setting is unnecessary.
Press the item, and when the item is highlighted, it has been selected.
When you press the Confirm key, the System Area Contents screen appears to confirm the selected items.
System Area Size
This field displays the total number of words used for the items selected from the SYSTEM AREA SETUP
(Write and Read ).
