Important Installation and Charging Notes

This charger is equipped with two (2) different charging profiles.  The first, our intuitive  DeltaVolt technology profile is
identified by the illumination of the Red LED labeled “Wet Cell/AGM”.  The second profile is designed to allow the On Board
Computer (OBC) in the Club Car to control the charge and is identified by the illumination of the Red LED labeled “Club Car”.

(NOTE:   In order to use the DeltaVolt Profile on a Club Car an additional 12 Gauge wire must be installed by
following the instructions enclosed.)  You can order this jumper wire (pre cut with ring terminals added) from us by
contacting our sales department at 1-866……..

The Club Car profile is designed to work with the cart’s OBC, however, we highly recommend that our

DeltaVolt

 charge

profile be used instead.  In our opinion the superior profile provided by

DeltaVolt

will promote higher specific gravity levels for

the batteries, which will result in more range and longer battery life.

Our DeltaVolt profile has been tested and approved

by many domestic and foreign battery manufactures specifically for golf cart applications.

In order to use our

DeltaVolt

profile, the OBC must be bypassed during charging.  This is accomplished by adding the 12

gauge wire mentioned above.  Simply remove the nut from either side of the fuse block molded into the club car charger
receptacle and slide the 5/16 ring terminal over the bolt and replace the nut.  Attach the other end with the larger1/2 ring
terminal to the negative post of the battery used for the negative connection of the 48volt series.  The OBC will function
normally when the charger is disconnected from the cart.

Please see page 6 for reminder of previously discussed indications of charge profile and refer to enclosed Club Car Wiring
diagrams for the procedure required to use the

DeltaVolt

 profile recommended by our company.
