Inserting/replacing activated
charcoal filters
• When using the appliance for air circula-
tion, only do so with activated charcoal
filters inserted.
• If neighbours complain about odours, it
may be a good idea to insert activated
charcoal filters for exhaust air operation,
too.
• The activated charcoal filters are not in-
cluded in the package contents. For the
source of supply for the activated char-
coal filter please see chapter „Our cus-
tomer service“ on page GB-21.
1. Remove the grease filter as described
in the section “cleaning the grease filter”
(see „Cleaning the grease filter“ on page
GB-18).

2. Only when replacing: Turn the locking
devices (15) in front of the activated char-
coal filter (14) to the side and remove the
activated charcoal filter (14).
3. Insert the activated charcoal filter (14) in
such a way that the recess on the acti-
vated charcoal filter (14) is aligned with
the cable leading out of the interior of the
exhaust hood.
4. Turn the locking devices (15) for the ac-
tivated charcoal filter (14) in front of the
activated charcoal filter (14).
Installation is now complete.
