Before getting started
• Read chapter „Zu Ihrer Sicherheit“ on
page GB-4 and all the safety notices.
Place the drill holes
WARNING
Risk of injury!
Improper installation of the appliance
can lead to injury.

Before drilling the holes, ensure that
no wires or cables in the ceiling (pow-
er, gas, water etc.) will be damaged
(check with a line locator).
CAUTION
Fire hazard!
■
The distance between the cooking
surfaces and the lower edge of the
exhaust hood must be at least 65 cm
for gas stoves.
■
For gas stovetops, you must read the
user manual for the stovetop! If the
manual stipulates a larger distance,
this must be observed.

1. Lie the ceiling panel (6) over the connec-
tion to the ceiling break.
2. Mark 12 drill holes for the heavy-duty bolt
anchors or screws.
3. Drill holes at the marked points, using a
diameter that can accommodate the dow-
els.
4. Insert the suitable screw dowels and
the heavy-duty bolt anchors into the drill
holes.
