3. Pull the exhaust air hose (4) downward
and insert the end of the exhaust air hose
(4) with the larger diameter (153 mm) into
the connection with the check valve (5).
4. Secure the lower end of the exhaust air
hose (4) with the cable tie (13).
5. Switch the power back on.

6. Loosen the hooks (12) and allow the lower
part of the flue screen (3) to slide down-
wards until they are resting on the housing
of the exhaust hood(1).
Inserting/replacing activated
charcoal filters
• When using the appliance for air circula-
tion, only do so with activated charcoal
filters inserted.
• If neighbours complain about odours, it
may be a good idea to insert activated
charcoal filters for exhaust air operation,
too.
• The activated charcoal filters are not in-
cluded in the package contents. For the
source of supply for the activated charcoal
filter please see chapter “Service” on
page EN-22.
1. Remove the grease filter as described in
the section “cleaning the grease filter” (see
“Cleaning the grease filter” on page EN-19).

2. Only when replacing: Turn the locking de-
vices (15) in front of the activated charcoal
filter (14) to the side and remove the acti-
vated charcoal filter (14).
3. Insert the activated charcoal filter (14) in
such a way that the recess on the activat-
ed charcoal filter (14) is aligned with the
cable leading out of the interior of the ex-
haust hood.
4. Turn the locking devices (15) for the acti-
vated charcoal filter (14) in front of the acti-
vated charcoal filter (14).
Installation is now complete.
