Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean
there is a defect in the appliance. Therefore, please check the table to see if you can
eliminate the fault.

Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can en-
danger yourself and subsequent users. Only authorised professionals may carry out
these repairs.

Fans and lighting not
working.
The appliance is dis-
connected from the
mains.
Check to ensure that the mains plug is posi-
tioned correctly. Check the socket by connect-
ing another electric device. Check the fuse.
Lighting not working.
LED bulb is defective. Telephone our service department (see next
page).
Grease is dripping off
the appliance
Grease filter is
clogged.
Clean the grease filter (see page EN-17).
Circulation air opera-
tion: Odours are not
adequately removed;
weak airflow.
The filters are dirty.
Clean the grease filters and/or renew the acti-
vated charcoal filters (starting at page EN-17).
Exhaust air operation:
Poor performance.
The exhaust hood
does not have a suffi-
cient air supply.
The exhaust hood expels a large amount of
exhaust air. This is why you need to provide a
sufficient air supply, e.g. by providing non-seal-
able openings in doors, windows and ventila-
tion conduits. Note the safety notices starting
on page EN-4.
The exhaust air hose
is bent or too long.
Check whether the exhaust air hose is bent or
too long.
