Event Log Errors Detected during Execution of the Domain Controller
When this server blade configures a disk array with the onboard SCSI array controller and the domain
controller function is used in Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000 Server, the warning message
below may be recorded in the OS event log at startup.
• Type: Warning
• Source: Disk
• Description: The driver detected that the \Device\Harddisk0\DR0 write cache was valid. Data may be
destroyed.
In this server blade, write cache is always invalid for the RAID logical drive composed with the onboard
SCSI array controller, and it will not be made valid. This message is logged when the cache setting of
the logical drive cannot be correctly recognized. Thus, this logging does not affect system operations,
and data will not be destroyed.
You can continue to use the system.
