The Standby, Recognized, and Active indications progress through
the states that a blade would experience under normal operating
conditions.
Note:
The amber light should begin blinking a few seconds after
you initially seat a blade. If it does not, a hardware failure has
occurred on the blade. Remove and attempt to reseat the blade. If the
amber light still does not begin blinking, contact Fujitsu Siemens
Computers customer support or your authorized service provider for
a new blade.
About Powering
On
To power on the BladeFrame BF200, turn on the circuit breakers on
the back of the BladeFrame BF200.
When powering up, the blades progress through the following three
states:
Standby
— The blade receives power (blinking amber LED).
Recognized
Steady amber
PAN Manager software, running
on the Control Blade, was able to
contact the blade via the
BladePlane.
Active
Steady blue
Processing Blade —
The
Processing Blade is executing
software instructions.
Control Blade —
The Control
Blade is running PAN Manager
software.
Selected
Blinking blue
An administrator has designated
the blade as ready for an
administrative action. A
Processing Blade that is selected
can be either active or inactive.
