7 Troubleshooting
Use the following information to solve common problems.
There is no power.
* Make sure the power cord is properly connected.
* Make sure that the main power switch is on.
Power is suddenly turned off.
* Make sure that the sleep timer is not enabled.
* Make sure that power saving is not enabled (TV mode).
* Make sure that the channel is not locked (TV mode).
* Make sure that the power plug is properly connected.
The remote control is not working properly.
* Make sure that you use the remote control within the allowable distance and angle.
* Remove objects between the remote control and the remote control sensor.
* Make sure that the batteries are not weak.
* Make sure that the batteries are correctly installed.
There is no picture.
* Make sure that the main power switch and power button are turned on.
* Make sure that the selected video input source is connected to a working component.
* If your LCD TV is connected to your computer, make sure the computer is not in a suspend mode.
The colour is abnormal.
* Make sure that the input source cable is connected securely and correctly to your LCD TV.
* Adjust the settings to fit your colour preferences.
The picture is not clear.
* Make sure that the antenna cable is properly connected.
* If using an antenna, make sure there are no obstructions blocking the reception.
* If you use any kind of amplifier to boost the signal level, check to verify that it is operating properly.
Picture is cut off/with sidebar screen.
* Make sure the image position is correct.
* Make sure that the screen mode adjustments such as picture size are made correctly.
* Change the aspect ratio.
Strange colour, colour too bright, or colour misalignment.
* Adjust the colour tone within the OSD.
* Make sure that the contrast is not set too high.
* Check the input signal setting.
You can see a picture but hear no sound.
* Make sure that the volume is not turned down.
* Make sure that the sound is not muted.
* Make sure that your audio input source cables are connected securely and correctly.
