Avoiding stored channels when using the scan feature (Scan Skip condition)
To Reset the Memory channel scan skip on/off condition: press the
"F"
+
s
or
t
button, the
"MR"
icon on the LCD will blink.
Press the
s
or
t
button, the memory channel scan skip (on/off) will alternate.

"PTT"
or
"MR"
button to store modifications.
Note:
- If you press the
"F"
button for over two seconds, the stored channel will delete and the radio will return to normal operation.
Using the Dual Watch feature
The DW "Dual Watch" button [6]
To operate dual watch:
1- Adjust the squelch perfectly, select the channel in which you want to monitor, which we will refer to as your A channel
2- Press the
"F"
+
"SC(DW)"
button, then
"DW"
will appear on the LCD.
3- Select the channel B in which you want to monitor. Once channel B has been selected, the radio will begin its dual watch
monitoring.

To turn off the dual watch, simply press the
"F"

""SC(DW)"
button or press the
"PTT"
button.
Note that the radio will return to the A channel for normal operation.
If you press the
"F"

"SC(DW)"
button or press the
"PTT"
button when a signal is received on the channel A (B), the Dual
Watch feature will be turn off on the A (B).
If a signal is received on channel A, it will be kept until it disappears. But, if a signal is received on channel B, channel A will
still be checked every 3 seconds.
