Step 3.
Remove the inverter PCB mounting screws.
Step 4.
Replace inverter PCB in reverse order of removal.
7-7 Polygon Driver PCB/Motor Assembly
Note 1: The motor spins for several minutes after power has been turned off. Do not
remove polygon motor assembly until it has fully stopped.
Note 2: The polygon motor assembly and polygon driver PCB are a matched set and
must be replaced together. To be more specific, the serial number on the polygon
housing must match the serial number on the speed correction PAL, which is located in
socket (U4) on the polygon driver PCB.
Caution: The coating on the polygon mirror surface is delicate. Do not touch facet
mirrors. Refer to the Section 6 for polygon facet cleaning procedure if necessary.
Step 1.
Remove the electronics cover. Refer to 7-1.A.
Step 2.
Remove the cables connected to the polygon driver PCB.
Step 3.
Remove the optics cover. Refer to 7-1.C.
Step 4.
Remove the cables connected to the polygon motor assembly.
Step 5.
Remove the polygon motor assembly by removing the three large hex head
mounting screws.
Step 6.
Remove the polygon driver driver PCB by removing the two mounting screws.
Step 7.
Remove the polygon driver PCB to polygon motor assembly cables. Be careful
not to damage the light shielding material located in the electronics chassis
(polygon) cable pass through hole.
Step 8.
Replace the polygon driver/motor assembly in the reverse order of removal.
7-8 Zenith ZPS-300 Power Supply
Step 1.
Remove the electronics cover. Refer to 7-1.A.
Step 2.
Remove the wires attached to TB1(AC) and TB2(DC) of the ZPS-300 power
supply. Note position of wires or refer to Section 4.
Step 3.
Disconnect the Condor power supply DC connector P2.
Step 4.
Hold the power supply mounting tray in place while removing the four screws that
secure the power supply mounting tray to the electronics chassis.
Step 5.
Remove the screws that secure the ZPS-300 power supply to the mounting tray.
