High Limit Thermostat
High limit thermostats are protective components for heating resistors. They work with automatic
reset and so, if they do, they do not need to be reacted manually.
There are two thermostats in the Forza Express oven, they are installed in the top of the oven, inside
the ventilation duct.
The thermostat bulb of the chamber heating resistor is installed in the top of the oven near the
ventilation duct, while the thermometer bulb of the lower resistance RI is located below the chamber
of the equipment. Both are protected by the oven's insulation blanket.
The high limit thermostat protects the oven against overheating. When the oven temperature rises
above 600°F / 320°C, the contacts open and shuts off power to the heaters (the oven will shut off as
well as the high limit interrupts power to the control board when open).
The high limit will reset automatically and usually happens within 5 minutes.
