Open up the unit and place in direct sunlight.
12 hours of strong sun will fully charge the internal
battery. Unit can charge devices whilst being
charged providing there is adequate sunlight and
internal battery reserve. Unit features low voltage
battery protection meaning it will charge devices
providing there is adequate sunlight and internal
battery reserve. If the unit doesn’t charge your
device, leave it connected to your device as the
solarmonkey adventurer will automatically start
charging your device when sunlight and internal
battery reserve improves.
Attach the USB/DC charging cable into any
5V USB output device (e.g. laptop) and the DC
connection into the DC socket. Unit can be
charged by solar and USB at same time. Unit
can charge devices whilst being charged.
The solarmonkey adventurer can also be
charged using the international AC mains
charger via the DC socket. Mains charger not
included but available at powertraveller.com.
All three charging methods can be used at the
same time and whilst charging a device.
