When the disc becomes jammed, for any reason, switch off the machine
immediately to prevent damage to the motor.

9  USE

9.1

Working direction (fig 8)

The machine must always work opposite to the direction of rotation. Therefore, never
move the machine in the other direction! Otherwise, the danger exists of it being pushed
uncontrolled out of the cut.

9.2

(Rough) grinding (fig 9)

For the best (rough)grinding results, hold the grinding wheel at an angle of between 30°

and

40° to the workpiece surface and guide back and forth over the workpiece in steady
movements.

Never use a cutting disc for grinding/roughing!

9.3

Cutting

When you use the right-angle grinder for cutting purposes, avoid tilting it in the cutting plane.
The cutting wheel must have a clean cutting edge.
A diamond cutting wheel is best used to cut hard stone.
It is prohibited to use the machine on asbestos materials!

Never use a grinding disc for cutting!

10 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Attention!  Before performing any work on the equipment, pull the power plug.

10.1

Cleaning

Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to prevent overheating of the engine.

Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use.

Keep the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt.

If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.

Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These
solvents may damage the plastic parts.

10.2

Lubrication

The machine does not need any extra lubrication.

10.3

Carbon brushes

When excessive sparking occurs, or when the machine does not start or does not run
smoothly, please check the carbon brushes and replace them if necessary.(see above).

10.4

mains cable & plug

If the connecting cable (or mains plug) is damaged, it must be replaced. Replacement of the
connecting cable should only be carried out by

a qualified specialist (qualified electrician).
