Malfunctions and Diagnostics
ELD devices are required to log and notify the user when there is a compliance malfunction or a
data diagnostic function. On the LV9000 if a malfunction is present, a red triangle with an ‘M’ in
the middle will display in the upper right corner of the screen. If a
data diagnostic error occu
rs, an orange triangle with a ‘D’ in the
middle will be visible. To view details about the issue:

either the server, or GPS for
too long, and it is possible that
the clock may not be correct.

Check the connection to the internet
and GPS antenna (malfunction should
clear once a valid fix is obtained).
