of all safety information.

WARNING! The warnings, cautions and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible conditions

and situations that may occur. Common sense and caution are factors that cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied

by the operator.

NOTE:

Keep this manual for the safety warnings, precautions and operating, inspection and maintenance instructions.

PERSONAL SAFETY

Dress properly by wearing protective equipment. Use foot, hand and head protection. Always wear ANSI approved impact safety goggles,

which must provide both frontal and side protection. Protect your hands with suitable gloves. Protect your head from falling objects by

wearing a hard hat. Protective, electrically non-conductive clothes and non-skid footwear are recommended when working. Wear steel-toed

boots to prevent injury from falling objects.

SPECIFIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

1.

Keep the wiring away from sources of heat, such as the exhaust system.

2.

Make certain that the wiring will not rub against any moving components.

3.

Make certain that the trail light components do not interfere with any of the ATV’s controls.

4.

Do not replace the 10 amp fuse with a higher rated fuse. If a higher amperage fuse is installed, it may damage the lights,

wiring harness, and / or the ATV.

5.

Do not replace the 35 watt bulb with a higher wattage bulb. Higher wattage bulbs will cause excess heat, which may result in

vehicle damage or severe injury. Larger bulbs can also drain the battery due to excess power draw.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

1.

Disconnect the device from the power source before servicing.

2.

Protect yourself against electric shocks when working on electrical equipment. Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces.

There is an increased chance of electrical shock if your body is grounded.

CAUTION! A qualified electrician should perform all wiring.

TOOL USE AND CARE

1.

Do not alter any parts of the device. All parts and accessories are designed with built-in safety features that may be compromised

if altered.

2.

Make certain that the power source conforms to the requirements of your equipment.

3.

When wiring an electrically driven device, follow all electrical and safety codes, as well as the most recent Canadian Electrical

Code (CE) and the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS).

4.

Always disconnect cables from the battery and ground cable prior to repairs. Always reconnect cable to the battery and the

ground cable after the repairs.

ASSEMBLY

1.

Use the supplied hardware to secure the trail lights to the front of the ATV. The light brackets can be installed up or down.

2.

Run the wires along the frame and use plastic ties or electrical tape to secure the wires.

3.

Mount the switch through the plastic body of the ATV in an area that it will not be accidentally turned on. Drill a 15/32 in. size hole

in an area to be mounted.

CAUTION! Use extreme caution when drilling. Be sure that nothing inside the body will be damaged when drilling through the plastic.

4.

Be sure to install the switch boot over the toggle switch to prevent water from entering into the switch.

5.

Connect the lights to the wiring harness and make sure that all the fasteners are tight and the wires have been safely secured.

6.

Turn on the lights and aim as necessary. The lights should be directed slightly to the sides as they are intended for side

trail lighting.

MAINTENANCE

1.

When replacing the bulb, wipe the bulb clean with a cloth and then wipe down with isopropyl / rubbing alcohol. Do not touch the

bulb after cleaning as this will cause the bulb to burn out.

2.

Maintain the device with care. A device in good condition is efficient and will prevent unnecessary problems.

3.

Inspect the device periodically. Have damaged or worn components repaired or replaced by an authorized technician.

DISPOSING OF THE DEVICE

If your device has become damaged beyond repair, do not throw it out. Bring it to the appropriate recycling facility.
