Never use the device standing on a ladder or
the like, and do not attempt to climb trees
with it. Always ensure you are standing firmly
and safely on the ground.
•
Check that the ventilation slots are not
blocked.
•
Hold the clipper with a hand on each handle
when in use.
•
Always use ear-protectors, protective glasses,
overalls and safety footwear during use.
•
Do not allow other personnel or animals to
come within a radius of 3 metres of the clipper
while it is running.
•
Remember that noise from the clipper can
prevent you from hearing other noises. Be
aware of your surroundings during use.
•
Keep fingers and hands safely away from the
blade during use.
•
Never leave unattended while it is running.
•
Do not obstruct or in any other way prevent
the safety switch from working, e.g. with the
intention of using with one hand.
•
Always remove the battery pack from the
clipper after use, before removing objects
stuck in the blade and when cleaning the
clipper.
•
Always replace the protective sleeve on the
blade when transporting or storing the clipper.
Preparation
•
The handle (8) can be turned through 45 or
90° to right and left. Push the lock button
(10) backwards, set handle to desired angle
and release lock button. Check the handle is
locked securely.
•
Check that the teeth (9) are lubricated.
•
Connect plug to extension lead. To avoid
treading on the cable or accidentally
disconnecting the extension lead, the cable
can be positioned on the cable holder (11), to
keep the socket off the ground.
