Safety advice
DANgER
life-threatening danger through machine tipping over.
•
Carry out the change from working position
to transport position, and vice versa, only on
level, firm ground!
DANgER
life-threatening danger exists through moving parts
when changing from transport to working position.
•
Make sure that the swivel range is clear and
that no-one is standing in the danger area.
•
Do not enter the danger zone yourself.
DANgER
life-threatening danger exists through rotating rotors
when reducing the transport height.
•
Switch off the pto shaft.
•
Remove the tractor key!
•
Wait until rotors comes to a complete stand-
still.
DANgER
life-threatening danger exists through unsecured
rotor arms.
•
Check the transport safeguard before
each transport run! The rotor arms must
be locked with the hook. The transport
safeguard (7) locking hooks must be fully
engaged in the pins of the booms.
From working to transport position

Raising the rotors
TIP
Only with hydraulic rake height.
Lowering and raising the rotor is only possible if the
comfort control on both rotors is set to the working width.
1. Swivel the rotor arms from working position to headland
by setting control unit 1 (single-acting) to "Raise".
2. Release working width adjustment (position 2) by
actuating control unit 2 (double-acting).

3. Swivel the rotor arms from headland to highest position
by simultaneously:
a. Skipping the headland safety device by pulling the
cord or pressing the comfort-control button (variant
single-rotor control).
b. Setting control unit 1 (single-action) to "Raise". Move
the control unit to the cylinder stop.
4. Lower the rotor to transport height by setting control unit
2 (double-acting) to "Lower" until the cylinder reaches
limit stop.
TIP
In transport position, you can ignore the "min." display on
the slotted link(1). The slotted link indicator is only relevant
in the working position. It refers to the working width.
