working depth adjustment
The working depth (T) is determined by the swivel range of the
attached roller.
The left and right bolts act as buffers when they are placed in
corresponding holes in the hole pattern.
For safety reasons, implement should stand on the
ground when adjustments are being made.
- Twist and remove bolts.
- Place left and right bolts in the corresponding holes and secure
by twisting.
Stripping plates
Adjusting stripper carrier is carried out by unscrewing both nuts
(11) left and right.
Check beforehand that
individual stripping plates
(10) are equidistant to the
roller.
Adjusting the Stripping
plates
- Turn roller, thereby checking
the stripper plate (10) gap.
- Loosen hexagonal screw
(SK) and correctly set
stripper plate.
- Turn roller once again and
check.
Side shields
Side shields (20) can be
screwed on at various
points.
The position should suit the
working depth.
Front deflector
Front deflector (0) height is adjustable and therefore adapts to
the respective working depth. This enables clumps to be evenly
distributed through to the following rotor.
Rear deflector
(Optional equipment)
Rear deflector (1) height is adjustable and therefore adapts to the
respective working depth.
In addition, the gap (X) can be set to the rotors.
With dry ground a small gap enables the clumps to be broken up
well. A slightly higher performance is required from the drive for
this than with a wider gap.
With damp and sticky ground the rear deflector should be set at
the highest position or removed.
Safety points
• Only operate the machine under the following conditions:
- when the front rail (30) is installed.
- when the rear rail (31) or a trailing implement (cage drum roller,
Packer roller) is attached.
- when both side shields (20) are swivelled down and the appropriate
working depth is set.
• Stay clear while engine is running.
Keep people out of the danger area where the risk of injury from
ejected foreign bodies exists.
Take particular care on stoney fields, and near streets and roads.
• Turn p.t.o. off when raising
the machine.
