Switching maximum cooling out-
put on/off – A/C MAX mode
In A/C MAX mode, the vehicle interior is cooled at
maximum power.

A/C MAX
The vehicle interior is cooled at maximum
power. The focus here is on the climate zones
in the rear.
Setting temperature
The temperature can be adjusted to between 60 °F
(16 °C) and 85 °F (29.5 °C). Recommendation:
72 °F (22 °C).
Temporarily setting the temperature to a lower or
higher value does not cool or heat the vehicle inte-
rior to the desired temperature more quickly.

Increasing and reducing temperature

Press button for the relevant air-condi-
tioned area up or down.
The selected temperature is indicated in the
display above the button for the relevant air-
conditioned area.
If LO or HI appears on the display, the system is
operating at maximum cooling (LO) or (HI) heating
power. Automatic mode is switched off.
If one air-conditioned area is set to LO or HI , all the
air-conditioned areas in the vehicle are also set to
LO or HI .
Setting air flow
Increasing and reducing air flow

Press button for the relevant air-conditioning
zone upward or downward.
The selected air flow is shown in a bar display
above button
. The more bars that are dis-
played, the more air flows into the vehicle
interior.
Pressing button switches back to auto-
matic mode.
If the air flow in all air-conditioned areas has been
reduced so much that
OFF appears on the air
conditioning displays, the outside-air supply is in-
terrupted and the air conditioning is switched off.
WARNING
Impaired vision with air
flow OFF
The windows can mist up if the setting for the air
flow is
OFF .

To increase the air flow again, press button
upward or switch on automatic mode again.
Adjusting air vents
There are air vents located on the dashboard
and on the door pillars . These can be opened and
closed manually . The direction of the air flow can
also be adjusted.
The
center air vents at the front and rear (de-
pending on equipment) can only be adjusted elec-
tronically via the touch displays.
