Opening/closing will be interrupted if this maxi-
mum speed is exceeded.

Pull and hold the button for opening or closing
the convertible top with no interruption until the
convertible top has reached its final position or
the windows are in the desired position.
The corresponding message on the multifunction
display goes out when the end position is
reached.
In the event of danger:

Release the button.

Persons sitting on the rear seats may be trapped
when raising the wind deflector.

Ensure that no one can be injured when raising
the wind deflector.
e
In case of danger, release the button
immediately.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to the wind deflector and seat
backrests. At extreme backrest angles, the wind de-
flector can collide with the seat backrests.
e
Before raising the wind deflector, always adjust
both seat backrests to the upright position.

Maximum speed approx. 75 mph (120 km/h) for
lowering and approx. 124 mph (200 km/h) for
raising. The wind deflector cannot be raised/
lowered if this speed is exceeded.

Press and hold the button until the final position
of the wind deflector is reached and the relevant
message on the instrument cluster goes out.

Do not activate the convertible top and wind de-
flector using the button or vehicle key during
emergency operation.

flector using the button or vehicle key during or
after emergency operation.

Drive slowly and carefully.

Visit an authorized Porsche dealer. Porsche rec-
ommends an authorized Porsche dealer, as they
have trained technicians and the necessary parts
and tools.
Checking the convertible-top system
Before carrying out emergency operation, check:
– Was the ignition switched on during operation of
the wind deflector and convertible top using the
button in the vehicle interior?
e
Switch off the ignition so that the wind deflector
and convertible top are not activated
unintentionally.
