Switching on Electronic Stability Control
(ESC)

Press the
button.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is active
immediately.
The indicator light on the button and the
PSM OFF warning light on the instrument panel
go out.
A message stating that Electronic Stability
Control is switched on appears on the
multifunction display.
Switching off Electronic Stability Control
(ESC) and Traction Control (TC)

Press button
and keep it pressed for
approx. 1 second.
The Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and
Traction Control (TC) are switched off
completely.
The indicator light on the button, the PSM OFF
and the TC OFF warning lights in the instrument
panel come on.
A message stating that Electronic Stability
Control and Traction Control are switched off
appears on the multifunction display. A gong also
sounds.

(ESC) and Traction Control (TC)

Press the
button.
PSM is active immediately.
The indicator light on the button, the PSM OFF
and the TC OFF warning lights in the instrument
panel go out.
A message stating that Electronic Stability
Control and Traction Control are switched on
appears on the multifunction display.

Information
– When Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is
switched off, sportier Traction Control (TC)
is activated.
– Brake interventions are deactivated.
– The ABS remains active.
Information
– All PSM functions are deactivated.
– The ABS remains active.
– If PSM is deactivated directly using the ESC+TC
OFF button, the indicator light on the ESC OFF
button also lights up.

When PSM is switched off, Traction Control (TC) can
be switched on separately:
