4. Compare with traditional battery test
1) The traditional battery test cannot send the pulse automatically, but in manual.
PW-VA500 supports to send pulse in manual and automatic. The pulse period and
max current can be set in single phase or three-phase.
2) By automatic mode, the master machine can send the pulse in cycle. And the test
engineer needs only to check the CT polarity on basis of inductive polarity of the CT
secondary from the slave machine.
3) By battery test, more than 2 engineers should be required for the site testing. Besides,
the long-distance communications, testing wiring connection, etc makes the testing in
low speed.
Moreover, the pulse current amplitude will be affected by the resistance, and
remaining battery.
By using PW-VP50, the above advantages will be avoided.
