ViewStation H.323 User’s Guide

Gateway

Use the Gateway screen to configure the Gateway that is used to dial
Gateway calls. If you make changes on this screen and you are not using a
Gatekeeper or Gateway, the changes have no effect on the ViewStation.

You can configure a prefix or suffix that is sent to the Gatekeeper. The
prefix identifies which Gateway is used to dial a call at a particular data
rate. The Gatekeeper then directs the call to the Gateway that is identified
with a prefix.

Gatekeeper

Use the Gatekeeper screen to configure an H.323 gatekeeper.

If you do not want to access a gatekeeper, select the Off option. To specify
a specific gatekeeper, select the Specify option and enter the gatekeeper’s
