Preface
This guide is intended for qualified technicians who will install, configure and
maintain the KIRK Wireless Server 300 (KWS300) Solution.
This guide provides all the necessary information for successful installation
and maintenance of the KWS300. For information about the installation and
configuration of the KIRK Repeaters and the KIRK Handsets, please download
these user guides at www.polycom.com.
Important Information Before You Begin
This guide assumes the following:
•
that users have a working knowledge of the call handlers operations
•
that the call handler is installed and initialized and is working correctly
•
that you have a working knowledge of deployment in general
•
that a site survey has been conducted and that the installer has access to
these plans
Furthermore, you will need the information in the table below in order to enter
the web based Administration Page.
Note
The KWS300 is pre-configured to use DHCP. If DHCP is not available, it
will fall back to static (192.168.0.1).
Prior to firmware release PCS05B_, by default, the KWS300 used static IP
address (192.168.0.1).
The current IP Address of the KWS300 can be discovered using UPnP.
