Steering lock
The steering wheel lock makes it difficult to
steer the car if it is stolen, for example. A
mechanical noise can be perceived when the
steering lock is locked or unlocked.
Activating the steering lock
The steering lock is activated when the car is
locked from the outside. If the car is left
unlocked then the steering lock will be activated
automatically after a while.
Deactivating the steering lock
The steering lock is deactivated when the car is
unlocked from outside. If the car is not locked,
the steering wheel lock will be deactivated as
long as the key is in the passenger compart-
ment and the car is started.
