PROP SHAFT
PROP SHAFT REMOVAL /
INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
1. If removing the front prop shaft , Locate the prop
shaft roll pin

and use the Roll Pin Removal Tool to
remove the roll pin. Discard roll pin. Push the front
prop shaft rearward to remove it from the front
gearcase input shaft.

NOTICE
Right front wheel can be removed to gain better access
to the prop shaft roll pin.
2. Remove the fasteners

retaining the front and rear
skid plates.
3. Remove driver’s seat.
4. Remove one fastener from under the driver’s seat

5. Remove four fasteners

from the prop shaft
mounting plate

.
6. Disconnect front prop shaft from the rear prop shaft.
Remove front prop shaft out through the bottom of the
vehicle.
FINAL DRIVE
