Measure overall thickness of each brake pad and
compare to specifications.

NOTE

The front pad (as positioned in the caliper on the

vehicle) is thicker than the rear pad.

NEW BRAKE PAD INSTALLATION

1.

Assemble the stationary actuator with bolts upright
as shown. Grease the tracks and install (3) balls.

2.

Install lever arm with plate washer (do not install
shims).

3.

Install sleeves (do not install springs), rear pad, and
front pad.

4.

Measure the gap between the friction material of the
pads and record.
