11. If shift fork or torsion return spring require service,
perform Steps 12-14.
12. Hold shift fork down and loosen screws (H).
13. Rotate shift fork retainer plates and carefully release
pressure to remove fork.
14. Inspect fork and return spring for wear or damage.
PLANETARY DIFFERENTIAL DISASSEMBLY
1. Use a scribe to mark differential cover and ring gear
prior to disassembly.
2. Remove (6) screws and differential cover.
3. Remove (6) planet gears and each side gear
assembly from the ring gear.
