2. Install drive shaft into strut housing.
FRONT HUB INSTALLATION
1. Inspect hub strut bearing surface for wear or damage.
2. Apply anti-seize to splines of drive axle spindle.
3. Install spindle through back of hub strut.
4. Install hub onto spindle.
5. Install washer against hub and loosely install hub
castle nut

6. Install brake caliper using new bolts
w
. Tighten bolts
to specified torque.
TORQUE
Brake Caliper Bolt:
18 ft-lb (25 Nm)
7. Tighten spindle castle nut to specification.
TORQUE
Front Hub Castle Nut:
70 ft-lb (95 Nm)
8. Install a new cotter pin
e
. Tighten castle nut slightly if
necessary to align cotter pin holes.
9. Rotate hub and check for smooth operation. Bend
both ends of cotter pin around end of spindle in
different directions.
10. Install the lower A-arm onto the lower ball joint, torque
nut to specification and install new cotter pin.
