CHASSIS HARNESS REMOVAL

1. Remove the upper and lower fenders. Refer to Front

Fender Service page 11.32.

2. Remove the front fascia. Refer to Front Fascia

Service.

3. Remove the under hood liner. Refer to Front Body

Assembly View.

4. Remove the floors. Refer to Floor Removal /

Installation.

5. Remove the upper and lower dash panels.

6. Remove the battery and battery tray.

7. Remove the radiator assembly. Refer to Radiator

Removal / Installation.

8. Remove the lower steering shaft and unbolt the EPS

unit from the frame. Refer to Steering Rack Removal
page 9.8.

9. Remove the harness from the vehicle. Refer to

Chassis Harness Routing.

CHASSIS HARNESS INSTALLATION

1. Install the harness in the vehicle. Refer to Chassis

Harness Routing.

2. Install the lower steering shaft and unbolt the EPS

unit from the frame. Refer to Steering Rack
Installation page 9.8.

3. Install the radiator assembly. Refer to Radiator

Removal / Installation.

4. Install the battery and battery tray. Torque the

fasteners to specification.

TORQUE

Battery Tray Fasteners:

42 in-lbs (5 Nm)

TORQUE

Battery Terminal Fasteners:

40 in-lbs (5 Nm)

TORQUE

Battery Bracket Fasteners:

42 in-lbs (5 Nm)

5. Install the upper and lower dash panels.

6. Install the floors. Refer to Floor Removal / Installation.

7. Install the under hood liner. Refer to Front Body

Assembly View.

8. Install the front fascia. Refer to Front Fascia Service.

9. Install the upper and lower fenders. Refer to Front

Fender Service page 11.32.

10. Verify proper vehicle operation.
