EVAP SYSTEM

CARBON CANISTER SERVICE

REMOVAL

1. Remove the driver’s rocker panel. Refer to Rocker

Panel Service page 11.41.

2. Disconnect the vent line

and fresh

air line

3. Push the retaining tab in and lift the canister straight

up to remove from the bracket.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the canister in the vehicle and align with the

bracket guides.

2. Install the canister straight down and engage the

retaining clip.

3. Connect the vent line

and fresh air

line

.

4. Install the driver’s rocker panel. Refer to Rocker

Panel Service page 11.41.
