Support bottom of bearing carrier housing and start bearing
in housing

Press bearing into place until outer race bottoms on
housing.
6.
Install snap ring into groove.
Carrier Installation
1.
Insert bearing carrier on drive shaft.
2.
Align bottom of carrier housing and lower control arm.
Grease and slide lower control arm bushings into place,
securing corner housing.
3.
Install both lower control arm bolts.
4.
Lift bearing carrier until top aligns with upper control arm.
Install and torque upper control arm bolt and torque to
specification. Torque lower control arm bolts to
specification. Apply grease to zerk.
5.
Pull drive shaft outward and install hub onto driveshaft
splines.
6.
Install cone washer domed side facing outward.
7.
Install retainer nut, wheel and wheel nuts.
8.
Remove jackstand and torque hub nut and wheel nuts to
specification.
CAUTION
Use an arbor press only on the outer race.
Bearing damage may occur.
Lower Control Arm Bolt Torque:
33 ft. lbs. (45 Nm)
Upper Control Arm Bolt Torque:
33 ft. lbs. (45 Nm)
Hub Nut Torque:
90 ft.lbs. (122Nm)

Wheel Nut Torque:
30-35 ft.lbs. (41-47 Nm)
