TIRES
WARNING
Operating your ATV with worn tires, improperly
inflated tires, non-standard tires or improperly
installed tires will affect vehicle handling and
could cause an accident resulting in serious
injury or death. Tires age, even if they have not
been used or have only been used
occasionally. Cracking of the tread and sidewall
rubber, sometimes accompanied by carcass
deformation, is evidence of aging. Old and
aged tires must be checked by tire specialists to
ascertain their suitability for further use. Always
follow all tire maintenance procedures as
outlined in this manual and on the labels on the
vehicle. Always use original equipment size and
type when replacing tires.
TIRE TREAD DEPTH
Always replace tires when tread depth is worn to
1/8" (3 mm)
q
or less.
