FUSE / RELAY SERVICE
FUSE / RELAY OPERATION OVERVIEW
The fuse box is located under the driver’s seat.
To access the fuse box, remove the driver’s seat and
service panel.
Fuse Operation
The fuses provide overload protection for wiring and
components such as the instrument cluster, ECU, EFI
system, main harness, lights, accessories and power
steering. A circuit breaker protects the fan motor circuit.
Relay Operation
The relays assist with component operation like the
cooling fan, fuel pump, EFI system, and electronic power
assisted steering
FUSE BOX REPLACEMENT
1. Remove the driver seat.
2. Remove the battery access panel and disconnect the
battery negative (-) cable.
3. Remove the fasteners holding the fuse box to the
vehicle.
4. Disconnect the fuse box from the main harness and
remove from the vehicle.
5. To install, reverse installation procedure. Torque fuse
panel fasteners to specification.
TORQUE
Fuse Box Fasteners:
35 lb-in (4 Nm)
