PRE-RIDE / DAILY INSPECTION
Perform the following pre-ride inspection daily, and when servicing the vehicle at each scheduled maintenance.

Tires - check condition and pressures
G
Fuel and oil tanks - fill both tanks to their proper level; Do not overfill oil tank
G
All brakes - check operation and adjustment (includes auxiliary brake)
G
Throttle - check for free operation
G
Headlight/Taillight/Brakelight - check operation of all indicator lights and switches
G
Engine stop switch - check for proper function
G
Wheels - check for loose wheel nuts
G
Air cleaner element - check for dirt or water; clean or replace
G
Steering - check for free operation, noting any unusual looseness in any area
G
Loose parts - visually inspect vehicle for any damaged or loose nuts, bolts or fasteners
G
Engine coolant - check for proper level at the recovery bottle

overfill or the selector may hydro-lock.

Coolant Level

Pre-mixed Antifreeze/
Coolant (

a 50/50 mixture high quali-
ty antifreeze/coolant and
distilled water
Fill reservoir tank to full line. Add if neces-
sary. If reservoir was empty or extremely
low, allow engine and cooling system to
cool completely and check level in radia-
tor. Fill to top of filler neck.
