RETIRE IMMEDIATELY Any termination that does not pass visual inspection
must be removed from service and destroyed.
• RETIRE IMMEDIATELY If there is any doubt about the integrity or safety of
any termination, it must be removed from service and destroyed.
• RETIRE IMMEDIATELY any termination which is greater than 10 years old
calculated from the rope date of manufacture, regardless of history and
usage.
• RETIRE IMMEDIATELY Any termination that has been subjected to an
impact load, as in a fall, must be removed from service and destroyed.

For sewn terminations, if the threads are not clearly visible
through the protective covering, slide the covering down to
allow a detailed visual inspection
The protective covering over the stitching should be
inspected to ensure that it is intact and remains in place over
the stitches
• All product instructions and labels included with this product should be
retained in permanent records with copies made and kept with the product.
